4.45 pm and I’m still at the lighthouse.
It’s my second hike up here,
not quite as bad as the first.
It’s quiet, visitors to the area have gone home, and I am alone.
Soft hues of pink and salmon shimmer through the network of clouds that litter the sky. Day’s End.
I feel reluctant to leave as I slowly make my way down the staircase,
but the sky is darkening now, and it’s quite cold,
A chill has set in my bones.
